Descrição: O Morrinho é uma maquete feita de pedaçoes de tijolos que ocupa 300m2 dentro da favela do Pereirão, na Zonal Sul do Rio de Janeiro. Começou a ser construída como um brinqueda há 10 anos por um grupo de crianças, atualmente jovens que ainda hoje moram naquela comunidade. Dentro desse brinquedo existem quase mil bonecos personalizados, personagens de um jogo de ação realizado segundo as regras da favela, onde “bandidos” e “mocinhos” alternam papéis num conflito que tem como testemunhas e vítimas o conjunto da população local. Há 5 anos, durante a gravação de um vídeo sobre a inusitada instalação, os garotos se interessaram pelo manejo de câmera e surgiu a idéia de se desenvolver uma iniciativa que proporcionasse treinamento nessa atividade. Dentro da própria maquete surgiu em miniatura a sede da TV Morrinho. Em 2005 finalmente foi inaugurada outra sede, dessa vez real, na entrada da comunidade. A idéia da TV Morrinho, que nunca deixou de funcionar durante todo esse período de transposição da miniatura para a escala humana, se baseia em ser uma ação que além de capacitar profissionalmente, desenvolva de maneira sistemática a própria iniciativa que os levou a construir o brinquedo, qual seja: poder continuar reinterpretando a realidade que os cerca de uma maneira criativa, usando dessa vez o vídeo como instrumento. Outra iniciativa deste projeto , hoje uma ONG, é a preservação do sítio específico através da criação de meios adequados para visitação a instalação. Com o mesmo objetivo organizam-se exposição onde o Morrinho é reconstruído em museus e galerias visando chamar atenção sobre sua existência, sua concepção e mesmo de seu desenvolvimento como obra. Todo esse trabalho, coerente com as intenções que proporcionaram a existência da TV Morrinho, geram capacitação profissional, renda e sobretudo pensamento; este último, instrumento fundamental , quase sempre esquecido quando se considera a emergência do atendimento mais básico à população brasileira. The Morrinho is a mock-up of bricks’ bit and pieces that occupies 300m2 inside the Pereirão slum, in the south side of Rio De Janeiro. It started to be built as a toy, 10 years ago, by a group of children, nowadays they are youngsters who still live in that community. Inside of this toy there are about a thousand personalized dolls, personages of an action game according to rules of the slum, where "outlaws" and "good ones" alternate roles in a conflict that has as witnesses and victims the local population. About 5 years ago, during a video recording at the unusual installation, the boys had shown interest by the camera handling and the idea of developing an initiative that provided training in this activity, arouse. Inside of the mock-up the headquarters of the TV Morrinho appeared in miniature. In 2005 finally another headquarters were opened, a real on this time, in the entrance of the community. The TV Morrinho idea, which never stop working during all this period of transposition from the miniature for the human scale, bases on being an action that besides enabling professionally, develops in a systematic way the same initiative that took them to built the toy, which is: to be able to continue reinterpreting the reality in a creative way, using this time the video as a toll. Another initiative from this project, today it’s a NGO, is the preservation of the specific location through the creation of an adequate way for visiting the installation. With the same objective they organize a exposition where the Morrinho is reconstructed in museums and galleries having aimed to call the attention on its existence, its conception and its development as a piece of work. All this work, coherent with the intentions that provided the existence of the TV Morrinho, generates professional qualification, income and over all thought; this last one, basic instrument, almost always forgotten when the most basic emergency of the attendance to the Brazilian population is considered.
